This Autumn, you can help grow a better future with people seeking safety in the UK.

Give to our Harvest Appeal

"You wiped away my tears. Nobody could see my tears, I was crying inside me." - Sarah
"I want to say, Boaz, you have made my life have meaning, you have given me love." - Sarah

"Ruth said to Boaz, 'You know I come from another country...it is good of you to speak so kindly to me, and make me feel so welcome.'" - Ruth 2:13

Our namesake, Boaz, was a landowner who noticed Ruth - a young Moabite woman who had no way of supporting herself and her widowed mother-in-law, Naomi. Boaz asked his workers to share the crops they were harvesting in a way that protected Ruth, but also kept her dignity. Inspired by his faith and Ruth's love for Naomi, Boaz chose to go above and beyond for someone who would have been viewed as an outsider by society at the time.

Today, we try to do the same. At Boaz we believe people who seek safety here in the UK deserve hospitality, not hostility. No one should be forced into destitution just for trying to claim asylum.

We provide safe accommodation and the support needed to help people grow a better future for themselves. Everyone who lives in Boaz accommodation receives holistic one to one support from a named support worker. This means that the people we work with have someone to help them access good legal advice, medical care, wellbeing initiatives, educational, voluntary and, if applicable, employment opportunities.

This special combination of housing, specialist support and advocacy is helping to create long-lasting change for people like Sarah. Your gift today could provide life changing support and help grow a better future for someone seeking safety.
