Let them eat cake!

We've been encouraging you to hold a Great Boaz Bake Off or Sale for Boaz but not ones to sit back and let others do all the work, we've just held our own here at the Kath Locke Centre. Tuesday was a very happy, and sugar filled, day! It was great to discover some hidden talents among Team Boaz (and some of their family members!) and the best news was that we raised over £180 for our work in just a few hours!

We met lots of our fellow Kath Locke Centre tenants from different organisations who popped in to support us- some more than once! It was great to see them carrying off boxes full of delicious and wonderful cakes that had been baked by our fantastic staff, their friends and families. And we've already heard of another organisation who are holding a coffee morning to support our work next week.

A bake sale is a great, fun and tasty way to raise some much appreciated money for us, as well raise awareness of our work - who knows what could come of it? You can decide how big you want it to be and, whether big or small, all money made makes a real difference to our work with people seeking safety here in the Greater Manchester.
