One night in the Winter Night Shelter

Can you imagine how much colder it would be if you were sleeping on the street?

The lack of emergency shelter for destitute asylum seekers in Manchester is a real and serious problem- those who have been refused asylum and left to face life on the streets are unable to access government-funded hostels, so there is literally nowhere for them to go.

The Boaz Trust is the only provider of emergency shelter for destitute asylum seekers in Manchester and, with the help of our friends at the British Red Cross as well as a number of local churches, we run a winter night shelter from November-April every year.
