We’ve just launched the ‘Boaz Life Programme’, as part of our wider support package for clients known as ‘Meaningful Lives‘ and we’re really excited about how it’s going!
‘Boaz Life’ is a holistic year-long course for clients inspired by the ’5 Ways to Wellbeing’ research carried out by the New Economics Foundation, and has been adopted in different ways by statutory and voluntary services across the UK.
It focuses on different practical ways individuals can improve their physical and mental health, and it’s got off to a flying start. Yesterday two of our female clients led a session on self-esteem and confidence and it was great to see people engaging with this important issue in new and creative ways.

Lots of Boaz clients have been hard at work this week, putting the finishing touches to this year’s Christmas cards! We’ve now got glitter all over the office, which is helping us to get in the festive mood…
The cards this year are inspired by some of the different languages Boaz clients speak. We are really honoured by the diversity different cultures, communities and nationalities bring to the Boaz family and wanted to find a way to express that. So, this year, each of the 5 card designs contain a different word associated with Christmas, in English, French, Amharic, Punjabi, Farsi and Urdu.
Cards come in packs of 5 for £2.50. Postage and packaging is extra- please ask for details.
