Boaz on the move!

Back in April 2010, the Boaz staff team (then just 4 of us!) took the major step of moving from our small office in a church in Harpurhey, to a purpose built new office at the Mustard Tree building in Ancoats. Now seven years on (almost to the day) we’re packing up and getting ready to move again.

In early April we’ll be relocating to the Kath Locke Centre in Hulme. We’re really looking forward to the move- it will bring us closer to many of our clients, hosts, staff, volunteers and partner organisations, as well as providing extra room for our growing team and increased space for one-to-one meetings. It’s inspiring to be moving into a community centre named after Kath Locke- an incredible community activist and leader who did so much with and for those who felt incredibly marginalised.

We are so grateful to Mustard Tree who have been wonderful landlords over the last 7 years, and we wish them all the very best as they commence their exciting project to rebuild their Ancoats hub.

There will be some changes in our opening hours while we make the move, which will be as follows:

  • Thursday 30th March – Our last day in our office at the Mustard Tree building – open as normal.
  • Friday 31st March to Tuesday 4th April – We will be closed as we move.
  • Wednesday 5th April – we will re-open at our new office.

Our new address is: The Boaz Trust, Kath Locke Centre, 123 Moss Lane East, Manchester, M15 5DD. All other details will remain the same.
