Refugee Stories – new book by Dave Smith

“A great and required read” – that’s the way Dave’s new book is being described.

This is his second personal project, the first being his Book of Boaz, and in this new book Dave captures seven stories of seven individuals who’ve experienced what it is to be a refugee – the causes, the journey and the struggle to build a new life.  516fZdubG5L._SX318_BO1,204,203,200_

  1. Dear Dave, I heard you speaking about this book this morning on Radio 4 and I also heard you when you came to speak one evening in Middlesbrough. I tried to contact you a few weeks ago by emailing Instant Apostle. I love your Boaz book, and your experiences are very similar to my own.
I have written a short book about refugees/asylum seekers and the response of Christians to them, and I was hoping to send it to you with a view to publication.
With all good wishes, sincerely. Anthea Dove

  2. Thanks for getting in touch Anthea. Your message has been passed on to Dave.

  3. Hi Anthea,

Good to hear from you. I am very happy to read your book – you can’t have too many refugee stories published! – but I don’t have any say in the publishing. That would be for Instant Apostle or another publishing house to decide – or you could self-publish.

If you want to send me the book for an appraisal, and possibly to recommend, please email me the pdf or word version to davesmith@naccom.org.uk

I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
