Escape to Safety

Escape to Safety is a nationwide multi-media exhibition and it is coming to Manchester from 11th-15th June, at St Peter’s Chaplaincy on Oxford Road, M13 9GH.

Organised by City of Sanctuary Manchester and the TRIO project, the exhibition is taking place throughout this week, within Refugee Month, to provide participants with a unique and thought-provoking experience of what it is like to be an asylum seeker/refugee leaving their home country and embarking on a journey to find safety in Britain.

The exhibition is open to the general public daily during the week from 12:30-13:30 and 16:30-19:30 on 11th-15th June, and local schools and community groups are invited to attend, along with members of the general public!

The aim of the exhibition is to build a positive and cohesive ethos around the issues of asylum, develop collaborative and critical thinking and to have fun!
